Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electrical GIS Survey Supervisor to manage and oversee large-scale field survey operations. The role involves team supervision, quality control, coordination, and timely execution of GIS surveys related to electrical infrastructure.
The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple field teams and ensuring data accuracy, productivity, and compliance with project standards.

02/ Responsibilities
What You’ll Own
Manage and supervise multiple GIS survey teams of approximately 10-25 members.
Assign daily targets, monitor field productivity, and provide on-ground troubleshooting support.
Oversee surveys for transmission lines, substations, feeders, 11 kV and LT lines, and distribution transformers.
Ensure proper route mapping, asset tagging, and GPS data collection across field operations.
Review field data for accuracy and completeness, including GPS coordinates, field photos, and network connectivity.
Coordinate with QC teams for error correction, re-surveys, and validation of submitted data.
Act as the bridge between field teams, GIS analysts, and project managers.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, issue logs, and resolution updates.
Train surveyors on GIS tools, data collection standards, and safety protocols.
Track team performance, ensure targets are met, and take corrective action where required.
03/ Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical, GIS, Surveying, or a related discipline.
3-6 years of experience in electrical GIS survey or utility or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution networks and transmission systems.
Hands-on experience with GIS tools, mobile survey applications, and MS Excel reporting.
Experience in projects such as RAPDRP, IPDS, or Smart Metering is preferred.
Leadership experience managing large field teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
